Leftover Chicken Recipes: Remove Corn Silk in 4 Easy Steps

I am always looking for new ideas on how to make cooking easier.  I just ran across a great tip on how to Remove Corn Silk.  Here are the 4 steps:

  1. Pop the corn in the microwave for four minutes.  Be careful when you take the corn out, it will be fairly warm.  You may want to wear gloves just in case.
  2. Place the corn on a cutting board.
  3. Cut a half to a full inch off the large end of the ear.
  4. Grab the top end of the husk and hold it vertically so that the corn cob drops out of the bottom.
That’s it.  Now you know how to Remove Corn Silk from an ear of corn.  Here is a video that will demonstrate this technique.
